By the way, Lara is a very talented fighter that has a bright future if he can land fights. He is a stylistic problem for most boxers.

 

I don't know if you remember but Sergio was "fed" to Pavlik just while they kept working on rescheduling PW-Pavlik. He was sent in to lose and he made the most of his opportunity. Lara while always looking like a solid fighter has never been able to put on sensational performances that will leave us screaming for more. Like i said he can start by cleaning house at the bottom and the fans will demand he fight the top guys.

 

Exactly my point, he's a solid fighter but I'm not screaming for Lara versus Cotto or Canelo is rather see them in other fights, Lara isn't exciting or like you alluded to he hasn't looked sensational to where I am clamoring to see him in with the current champs, but this all can change if he develops a winning streak and looks good winning, no controversial decisions...

We'll see how he looks tomorrow against Hearns maybe he can make a statement destroying Hearns and then directly call some top ten guys out...
