The Bedford Bear wants the winner of Harrison/Price, and once he wins that fight, he wants Vitali. This weekend he fights Jakov Gospic. With a record of 11-4 with 9 wins by KO, Gospic is no mug. If Audley pulls off the upset, which he may very well do with the world class power he holds in his left hand, I would have Skelton as favourite to beat him and then it's Vitali time. :deal

It's been pretty much confirmed that Skelton meets the winner of Price/Audley. :deal

Price wants to win the Lonsdale outright, Skelton will ask a few questions.

IIRC they're both Maloney fighters so its a natural fight to make

In an ideal world, I'd like Price to beat Harrison and then move on to European level if he wasn't able to get a fight with either Chisora or Fury. However, saying that if he did fight Skelton, whick looks likely, it wouldn't be the worst fight ever. He doesn't have much experience at British level and maybe Skelton could get inside and give us some answers as to what Price will do vs. a good pressure fighter.

Ideally though as I said, he'd take another step up after this fight.

Can't see audley winning although stranger things have happened. I think both audley and matt losing at the weekend and both hanging up their gloves is a lot more likely than either getting another title fight.

Tough fight hahahaha - Not only has Gospic never beaten a fighter with a winning record - the only wins Gospic has ever had over fighters who had ANY wins at all - had records of

    4-13-1
    6-22-2
    1-17-2
    2-26-0
    2-7-0

Skelton might even ko this guy just by staring at him before the bell sounds.

Matt is totally shot. Price would batter him.

A good pressure fighter? Skelton has been shot to bits for years. Horrible fight. Simply not worth doing in any respect.

I reckon it'd a better fight than against audley. Skelton done a good job on dallas.

Skelton is so old. I wonder who would win between him and Holyfield if they were to fight today?

Skelton wasn't even an elite KB in k-1, and he's done pretty well for himself especially when he didn't even start his pro boxing career until he was 35. So you have to wonder how guys like Jerome Le banner, Mike Bernardo, Ernesto Hoost and others would have done had they made the full time switch from KB to boxing. (Bernardo and JLB had a few boxing matches)

Pricey getting another defense in this year and then one in the first 3 months of next year should be the plan. Lets be honest he should blow Harrison and Skelton both away so the 6 weeks in between fights should be enough.
