Don't get carried away. It was Jean Pascal.

I don't believe anyone here bet money expecting Pascal to pull of a miracle and KO Kovalev in the 1st 4 rounds.
The outcome was predicted by Pascal's own Mom, so let's not get carried away with this performance.

The real competitive fights for Kovalev (Stevenson, Ward) are still brewing, and both of those fights are 2 levels more competitive than what Pascal can bring.

Lol I actually put a (very small) bet on Pascal UD at 32-1.
Home town, great chin, and I guess I believed when he said he'd addressed some of his flaws. So that went well... He was by far the worst I've seen him. Absolute garbage. Roach really ain't looking so hot right now.

But yeah, this didn't prove much as far as Kovalev is concerned.

Sorry for your loss, but had a miracle happened you would have made big 1000:1 odds bank.

Roach has nothing to do with it. Pascal is past it, of course he's going to look hi worst. He's also fighting the best opponent he's fought.

Pascal has never been a boxer. He has always been an opponent. He has never been able to keep his stamina past 5 rounds, so his chances of outboxing Kovalev and winning a decision was non-existent.
His only chance was to land a bomb with the first four rounds and get a KO.

The last time Pascal KO'ed anyone was in 2013. Three years ago, and that was a lesser fighter than Kovalev.
Calling the outcome of this fight is as easy to predict as Zeb Bush losing the Presidential election.

Just like to have a stab a long shot every now and then, wasn't predicting JP win by any means. But this wasn't my finest hour.

Kovalev already beat him before anyway.

Yea this was as one sided as predicted and fight 1 was pretty one sided on its own outside Pascal landing like 5 good punches

I think Kovalev shows maturity and poise in there and he is going to be hard to beat

I favor him over Ward and Stevenson but obviously those 2 have things that can beat Kovalev

 I don't blame you. Anything can happen in boxing. Kovalev could have hurt his hand before the fight or something. It was a dagerous gamble, and with a lot of luck, it could have paid off. :yep

Not sure about this. Yes, he seems to be past it, but even while he briefly had some energy his plan was all wrong.

Man roach completely ****ed up tried to get pascal to outbox him behind a jab what was he thinking :patsch there was no head movement or overhand hooks none of the good stuff he had been doing his best chance was to nail kovalaev with a counter or in a wild exchange so basically roach took away his only threat

They're acting like Kovalev just knocked the Stadium off it's foundation.

He showed plenty flaws just like he always does.

One thing about Kovalev....you always know where his head is.

Roach didn't change a single thing about Jean.

Pascal didn't do a thing differently.
