    I think this is a good point but Ward and Stevenson are know more for their left hands and Kovalev keeps his right hand at home

    His left hand can be low and his upper body doesnt move much

    I think he uses his height reach and feet to really master distance, he did it tonight and vs Hopkins to a great extent

    Hes not going to be easy to beat for anyone

    This has nothing to do with Ward.
    Ward beats Pascal one sidedly too, and so does Stevenson.
    What, you want Kovalev to receive Hagler-Hearns status for this fight? :lol:

    Pascal is a guy that relied on athletic ability little skill and toughness to beat guys he doesn't have the athletic ability he once had but he's still tough he's lack of skill has come back to haunt him. At this point he needs to retire his toughness will only get him badly hurt.

    The first pascal win for kovalev was good this one not really. Pascal is done he looked completely shot in this fight.

    Ward was known for his left hand when he had a bum shoulder.
    Against Kovalev we'll see a lot of straight rights and uppercuts landing accurately on Kovalev.
    Great fight and can't wait until it's up.

    Now Stevenson, I believe he sure start training to throw more right hooks to surprise his opponent who believes all he even throws is that powerful straight right.
    With Kronk at his side, Stevenson has no chance of getting with Joke Coach Roach to mess up his style.

    His right is low but he doesn't often get punished for it, I think he doesn't lower it unless he knows it's safe to do so and tries to bait his opponent. It's not like a bad habit type of thing.

    Stevenson used to use the right hook a lot more. Especially in the Don George fight

    I do like Wards right down the middle and I think he ignores this punch. I know hes a left handed person but he throws the right very naturally and effectively that you would never know. I always felt if he threw it more he would be even more dominant than he is now

    He already beat Bute once and by 12 round UD. Who'd have thunk it. :lol:

    He'd lose to Fonfara but likely by decision. Another nice paycheck though.

    it's obvious from your previous posts you're nothing but pro-Ward. You down play Kovalev because it would mean giving credit to a fighter fated to fight your favorite. Hence the Uppercut_nubgobbler nickname :good

    Stevenson has a very nice right hook, when he throws it. I guess when you throw the straight left and everyone goes down he hasn't needed it.

    Ward said he didn't throw his straight right due to his injured shoulder, but he threw a hell of a lot of them against Smith.
    I like how he throws it right behind his jab. and then follows up the right with another two punch combo. No one has done that to Kovalev, yet.
