Don't know if any of you realised by Shogun tapped

Check out the footage again, he goes down and taps. He doesn't know the referee is coming to his rescue.

 

Can you blame him? He was out on his feet and taking an absolute pasting. Felt bad for him.

 

whats the big deal, he had nothing else to give, it was beat out of him.

 

Wasn't impressed by it. Relatively, there is nothing wrong with it but I was a bit shocked when I noticed. He tapped on the floor when no strike, sub etc was landing. In that moment I would have liked to see him keep trying to fight but I guess he was too hurt.

 

:blood Gee you think? What do you think these fighters are made of?

 

It is all relative and they are human but there are those special few that leave you in awe in terms of heart and courage. Shogun still took a pasting.

Maybe he'll come to fight not so fat next time and maybe won't need to tap.

Anyway, anyone questioning Shogun's heart must have been watching a different fight from me whether he tapped or not

 

I'm not saying he doesn't have heart but I am judging him relatively speaking and I didn't think he would tap while being hurt.

 

I dont blame him or anyone tbh, was a sustained beatdown.

It was the liver shot that made him tap. He took a savage beating before that, so it's hard to blame the guy for begging for salvation. I wouldn't question Shogun's heart. Jones just breaks people.

I also like how with Shogun on the cage, wobbled, and covering up, Jones doesn't do what most fighters would do and blast away at his head. Instead, he lands one, beautiful, perfect body shot to end it.

 

That's as nice as finishes get. He put everything into that liver shot.

 

That body shot really was incredible.
