Dont let the MMA forum go the way of the General forum

I certainly could do without the endless amounts of asinine boxing vs. MMA threads that get dumped here, offer nothing constructive, and turn into idiotic flame wars. This forum has gotten considerably worse the last few months, and I have been posting less and less. Instead of coming in daily to find fresh new debates about MMA matchups, I get to glance through thread titles like, "ZOMG CAN YOU BELIEVE MMA THINKS ITS GUNNA BEAT MAYWEATHER!@!!"

I wish we could have a moderator, and a separate forum called "MMA vs. Boxing" for any morons that feel the need to boast about how great their favorite sport is.

As for me, I like both, so I would like two separate forums to intelligently discuss both.

 

We wont we have been taking this general forum **** ever since this forum for MMA was created in 06. We will be just fine unless alot of newbies show up and **** up the chemistry.

 

I feel like it's been considerably worse the last few months. Perhaps most of that has to do with this Mayweather matchup or whatever. Hopefully once this blows over this forum gets back to business.

 

The blame goes to Dana White and FMJ for bickering about both sports...numbnutt fans on both sides fan the flames.

 

It's getting annoying. Its like they got tired of ****ing up the general forum and now have to move over here. I used to enjoy posting in the general but haven't in a while.

Then we have tools like wentz who can't get Zuffa's dick out of their mouth.

Besides the lounge this is the only place I can actually enjoy posting on anymore, which is sad considering its a boxing forum.

We need a garbage man to take out the trash IMO.

 

A couple years ago this place was not very active but with the growth of mma combined with the hate of boxing fans it has got alot busier. Like Chimba said I hope it doesn't get like the general forum because it's become a troll fest and a ***** fest. When I first started 90% of my posts were on the boxing side now 90% is on the mma side.

And the next person who starts a mma vs boxing thread should be banned.

I rarely visit the general forum. I value my posts, and don't like to see them sink in garbage.

I've posted several times now, which a couple of the posts have been moved, that many of the boxing vs mma threads should stay in the general forum. When one of these threads occurs in the general forum, it is moved here. When a boxing vs mma thread begins in the mma forum, it stays there. I just don't agree with this.

If someone starts a boxing vs. mma thread, boxing is half the subject matter. If such a thread starts in the general forum, it should remain there. If the thread starts in the mma forum, it should remain there. I don't know why this is unfair and not happening.

Who's the mod that keeps dumping MMA crap in here from the GF? Why does it end up here?

 

The MMA forum had active posters from the beginning including myself. There wasnt alot of footfall because most posters were in the GF or the Brit forum but i was always here along with Widdow and BoxingCar.
