I was also impressed by the way he took that punch from Miranda. I am still to be entirely reassured that his chin is world class though.

We have a fan with us! Maybe next time you'll bring some real facts to support your opinion.

Allan Green is not even a top 15 fighter and he didn't touch Ward. That doesn't prove Ward's chin. You could have brought Miranda as an example, that would be more relevant.

If you had read Ramon's post, you'd understood that he was talking about the courage you need to win even in a tough fight. That was obviously not the case against Green and Kessler.

    Please read before answering.

Green was a mistake in this tourney and old Glen put all in its place

It was also a mistake to leave Bika, Andrade and Bute out...

Bika and Bute will at least be involved. But what about Andrade?

Bika is a front-runner, in my experience. If he doesn't get the better of Ward early on, he won't do much after having shipped a lot of punches.

All fighters have weaknesses, let's just not rate any of them and then complain that boxing is dying.

That's not Miranda, that's Boone and it was Ward's 7th professional fight. Ward took Miranda's punches well.

Yeah, cause fights like Haye vs. Harrison are a shot in the arm for boxing, right?

If anything is damaging to boxing it's hype, because it blurs the line between boxing and pro wrestling.

The decline in the popularity of boxing is a natural and ultimately welcome development. Boxing is a particularly unhealthy profession, and for the 100 or so who make enough money out of it to live well, there are many thousands who get to remain poor.

I didn't say that was Miranda. I was talking about "that" Miranda punch.
