    Jean Pascal isn't a pushover.....

Plus I think that LHWT Jean Pascal NOW is equal to, or even slightly better caliber champion/opponent than, the HW Micheal Moorer that Foreman beat.

He beat a solid opponent to get his record, I think he earned it.

    This.

Good post, and fully agreed. Hopkins right now is just a crafty veteran...and a very good one at that. He knows all the tricks in the book and he uses all of them too.

Lets be serious also, there were quite a bit of fouls in this fight. Both fighters but mainly Hopkins. With the thumbs to the eye, the kidney punches, and using his head as a third fist....He gets away with this cause of his ring smarts...like you said. The man knows a boxing ring like Stephen Hawking does space.

You know what, **** what your saying, Hopkins said it right during the post fight interview, Pascal just throws the shots he does throw with knock out written on them meaning he loads up on everything.

Basicly that style of fighting is why he fights in short splurts he has to recover after he gets so many shots off which is why when you did see him hurt hopkins he also had to back up once he gets that down once he learns how to do that, you will see a more fluid and more dangerous Pascal....

B Class fighters dont win world titles.... I am sorry kid it just doesnt happen that way.

What? Are you okay? Not everything in boxing revolves around Pacman get that straight and like him or hate him Hopkins made history vs an A level fighter. Now Pascal is a bum? We all know hes not the most skillful guy, but he gave Dawson, Froch, and Hopkins a hell of a time. Even Hopkins said hed be champ again plus.he dropped him twice you cant really knock on either guy.

A bit surprised with this thread from GT, I think he's normally a decent poster.

For me it was a nice win for BHop, especially considering all variables that were in play. Pascal was the young champ, not the greatest ever, but still a solid champ. BHop is an OLD man. The fight was in Canada and he still managed to win a UD!

The danger was there for the big punch from Jean but Bernard adjusted and absolutely mind ****ed the guy. I thoroughly enjoyed watching this performance.
