No one's sleeping on Froch here. This is the definition of a 50/50 fight.

Fighters who are nowhere near Froch's level went 12 rounds with Abraham, and I think if it goes 12, Carl takes it.

The thing that worries me about Froch in this fight is the low left hand, and that God awful excuse for a jab. His chin is nearly always open because the left is nearly always down low. In addition Froch has the rather absurd habit of jabbing off the front foot instead of the back foot. That leaves his chin hanging out over his left foot, and very vulnerable. Against AA that could be a problem.

Carl will be so much bigger and having lost the opportunity against Kessler I see this being so one sided , bruised and battered AA doesnt come out for the 11th.

His jab is actually pretty good when he gets it going (it won him the Pascal fight). It's the no chin tucking and his inability to fight backwards which is more of a problem here. He has this amateurish bad habit called "the bow and arrow" in which he pulls his right hand away from his guard at the same time as he throws his jab. This will leave him to big left hook counters when Abraham decides to explode from that shell defence.

Froch should punch around the guard, even if it's behind the head and on the ears, it'll irritate and hurt Abraham. It will also leave shots through the middle with the brillient uppercut Froch has.

I just love Froch's confidence, it borders on arrogance. Don't know how to describe it really, he just has this inner believe and swagger, that x-factor if you will.

    Abraham will KO Froch.

Froch has been hanging on by his finger tips at this level and I think he has had all the good luck he is going to get.

Both of them hit like sledgehammers. But Abraham has a damn good defense while Carl uses the Margarito technique of blocking punches with his face.

Abraham wins by UD or late round stoppage.

I'm not sleeping, but I highly suspect Froch will be within the distance.
