Seems like a lot of yall are writing him off

lets not forget how talented he is!
I'm Not Saying he's going to make a dent in the game but when a guy is as talented as he is you have to respect him!

if he looks good against lacy and lands and wins some big fights i dont want to see all of yall hoping back on jt's pipe because alot of yall was hating heavy

i for one was hating even when he was winning. i do however agree and think he can make a lot of noise still at 168.

The Lacy fight will be more difficult than people think, too many people are writing Lacy off here.

He is good, but he gets beaten up by Kessler, could easily find himself KOd by Froch if they meet, and could well be beaten on points by Bute. But he is a contender in the division for sure and has some good fundamentals.

He is much the better boxer than Froch, but then he is the better boxer than Pavlik too and that didn't help him. Kessler does everything better and has the better intangibles too.

    To me he's extra talented

strong fast ... pretty much all the things you could wish for out of birth for a boxer... he just has never really put it together in a spectacular showing to make people believe in him ... but im not going to go to sleep... i actually wanted him to beat pavlik.. i was hoping it would be his coming out show but pavlik put a stop to that ****.. well see what the future holds

Lacy barely won against a lack- lustre Peter Manfredo JR.
Lacy barely won against Mendoza for crying out loud.

If Jermain does not beat him in good fashion, it's really time to call it a day. As big fan as I am of Jermain, he needs to win, and win big.

Epifanio Mendoza:patsch ,and he is quite a good puncher but really Jeff should have won easier(some say he actually lost)

Taylor is strong and fast. But he also tires if the fight is fought at a touch pace, and his defense is sloppy. That said, he should annihilate Lacy, who has just been in it for the payday since the Calzaghe disemboweling .

I had it scored a draw with a firm belief that Lacy should have been deducted a point for blatantly tackling Mendoza when he was in serious trouble, which would have given it to Mendoza. He got a pitty decision from the judges.

With that said Lacy is a tough guy and has a bit of pop, and Taylor doesn't have a great beard nor is he use to fighting 168 pounders so nothing is out of the question.

I am writting him off because he had emanuel steward as his trainer and would not listen to a damn word he would say. Steward would be trying to coach him and jermain had to do it his way well look at where his way has gotten him. No Where!

Like Emanuel Steward is the best trainer in the world?

Emanuel is not even in the top3.
