    Only rumours and hype to create some intrigue. He will probably fight Maidana cuz he has a good profile and he's coming after a very good win.

    Floyd's last 5 opponents came after good-notable wins.

    Alvarez vs Trout, Guerrero vs Berto , Cotto vs Margarito II, Ortiz vs Berto and Mosley vs Margarito.

    I would tend to agree and am hopeful of this. Maidana fight is better than a Khan fight despite Khan beating Maidana 2+ years ago.

    But I also think Khan probably does generate more money... So odds are...

    I don't think he would fight Maidana, Maidana is Alexander left over. Floyd was heard recently critizing opponent about fighting their left over so that fight won't happen, Maidana is Alexander left over.

    Floyd as always talks whatever he wants and then he says 'I never said at all / Don't put words in my mouth, etc'. :yep

    Maidana beat and exposed Broner (who has/d a very high profile), so Maidana qualifies and is an eligible opponent for Floyd.

    Its all about marketing strategy and hype. He likes to stir the **** and create some intrigue by suggesting Khan would be his next opponent but in the end he'll probably fight Maidana, Garcia or Malignaggi.

    Don't take trash talking too seriously. Maidana isn't anyone's leftover and he's coming off a major victory.

    yep, some people buy whatever Floyd is saying.:nut:patsch He's not that stupid to take Khan.

    If Khan would've fought Alexander and beat him, I'm sure Floyd would've chosen him as his next opponent. :good

    it would be :lol: & :-( at the same time.

    hope he picks Maidana or Garcia, even Malignaggi is a better choice than Khan.

    and a Maidana / Garcia fight what it would be for Floyd ? :think

    at least these guys earned their shot to fight Floyd plus they have good profiles too.
