Bradley doesnt seem to have much stopping force in his punches and I dont understand why. Takie Paulie for example, we all know he doesnt have a punch, but you can see that from looking at him fight, he flicks his punches, he prefers the advanrage of being light on his feet as opposed to planting them and letting rip. Basically,he knows hes better off sticking and moving,so he does that, and doesnt even look to load up. When he does land, the punches look weak. Bradely on the hand, looks like hes landing bombs. His punches are thrown with power and bad intentions. He lets rip with his punches. When the punches land, they look and sound powerful. He makes his opponents head snap and send send sweat flying, but they just dont seem to leave an impression. Physically hes also built like a beast. The same kind of build you expect to see on a power puncher. ...just dont get it!:huh
He's just naturally weak like Marquez is. Now, put him on PEDs like Marquez in his last fight and I guarantee you he will knock people out with the same punches.
Power is simply God given. Or if you're an athiest, you can say it's "natural". There's no other explanation for it. Some guys just have natural power, while others don't. Bradley isn't a feather fist. He hurt and dropped Peterson afterall. But he doesn't have the pop to deter really durable guys.
I think it's all the muscle he carries. Part of it is technique, and some guys just aren't born to be punchers.
He has decent power. He was rocking Provodnikov's head back. Power is in many ways a gift, but Bradley could improve if he turned is punches over better. There's a noticeable difference in the pop before and after Hearns' instructions here: [yt]g1GtrWw09eE[/yt]
Dude, your posts are full of ****. More full of **** than mine and that's saying something. Besides, Marquez - 40 KO's throughout his whole career + with the last KO, understand Physics a bit more please.
If anything the muscle should help! Look at Tyson. Guys with that dynamic muscular build, tend to be the most powerful.
Too much muscle slows you down. Bradley looks like he body builds , that's generally a no-no in boxing. Tyson early in his career didn't do any weight lifting.
Funny part is, Bradley still has enough craft, even while partially concussed, to avoid and slip shots. Meanwhile folks like Khan get hit with EVERYTHING once they get hurt.
Bending down twice is avoiding and slipping shots? :huh Really It was a case of Ruslan bieng unable to compose himself and effectivly setup his offence with Bradley hurt on the ropes.
To be fair he was ROCKED in that clip.....but the answer to why he doesn't have power is because he's just not a puncher. He's not heavy handed by any stretch of the imagination.
