He's tries for speed over power. I think that's his boxing style. He doesn't sit on his hooks or uppercuts and his straights are meant to be pitter patter (amateur style). He might do better if he sat down more and put his hips into his punches.
There were several times within the fight where bradley was hurt and was still able to intelligently defend himself.
Not that im downplaying the way Tim was able to slip those shits in a ****ed up state but Ruslan made it easy for Tim to avoid his offense because he was so predictable. Tim just kept moving his head knowing that it was going to be left or right hook. Ruslan was winging those things.
I'm going to disagree. Bradley looks like he puts a lot into shots, and he's built like a guy who ought to punch well but it doesn't look to me like he's get proper leverage & technique. He's a lot of arms and very little hips & legs when he punches. To me he looks a little top tall, and is so bulky that he's just cumbersome with his combinations. He certainly looks like someone who ought to punch hard but when he actually throws punches he does not look like a guy that's dealing a lot of damage.
Whether he lifted weights or not, he still looked like and had the body composition of a bodybuilder. I mean Tyson carried WAY more muscle than Tim. Like I said, dynamic, muscular guys like Bradley,Tyson, etc tend to be the most explosive and as such, most powerful
One seems to be a lot of static lifting, and the other is a more explosive, more dynamic, fast-twitch kind of fighter. Bradley's build looks more bodybuilder-esque like Frank Bruno though, and he could punch.
It should be factored in that Bradley is smaller than most of his opponents - he's a short guy even for at WW. He isn't feather fisted but he's hitting upwards at opponents who are often naturally bigger than him. Also, he's fighting pretty good competition - it's more difficult to hurt/stop those kind of guys than the bums most "ko" artists feed on.
