Some of the ridiculous excuses you use to try and justify your opinions are remarkable.

 

It's the most ambiguous ******ation of measuring effectiveness I've ever heard.

Take a look at Pacquiao's face compared to Bradley's after their fight. Who would you rather be?

Look at Donaire's compared to Mathebula's after their fight; who would you rather be?

Kellerman is an absolute muppet.

 

Can't disagree with anything you said there. One thing I will add though is that the jabber would need to be actually able to control and dictate the fight with the jab. The fact that he landed more jabs in itself is not enough to say he did so.(if that makes any sense).

My point is, statistics ony have so much value. They reflect the action only to a certain degree, and can't be relied on to tell the complete story. That's why the judges and judging fights in general is so damned subjective, and cards often differ wildly.

 

HBO commentary is just terrible. Max Kellerman at one point last night said "When someone is calling the punches you get a pretty good feel of how the round is going"

yet him and roy continued to just blab about nothing, and NOT call the punches. HBO needs a guy like Gus Johnson who actually calls punches. I also like the commentators i hear on sky sports. not as bias.

it wasnt the same cast, Anyhow last night clearly shows you the what clean effective punchin really is, for the most part Mathebulas shots had no snap on them at all and he pushed most of his shots.
Donaire on his toes and I disagree with Lederman regarding where you get your power from he said being Flat footed or some **** like that last night.
No you can be flat footed or on your toes to get that kind of power.
For example DLH was on his toes when he leveled Vargas with that left hook.
Anyhow Donaires shots were all turned over correctly beautiful snap on them that left Jab Donaire was getting off was snapping back the boys head.

They got the winner right,

One thing is for sure, if you ever want to know the difference between clean effective punching and Ring Generalship Donaire displayed exactly what that is....

No, thats not what I am saying what I am saying is there is a correct way to score, for example in basketball you cant just use any goal same with football and Soccer, you have to use the goal that is assigned to your team thats where you score your points.

so lets just say I took the basketball and threw it in the other basket, its a made shot but is it scoring? No it isnt.
Turning your shots over is how you get points in this game, traditionally a turned over shot is going to have snap on it no matter if the guy can punch or not, he flicked his shots out there for the most part, every now and then he did sit down on that right hand and turn it over and you saw a big difference which is why those score and why the majority of his shots though they landed they didnt have **** on them to even be considered scoring.

 

Do you suggest we start scoring fights on a popularity bases, Clean effective punching is one of the four criterias what the **** do you mean who gives a ****:huh

Again, it seems as if you just want to count punches and whoever has the most wins the round. That isn't how it works. Clean, effective punching is the scoring criteria, open to interpretation, yes, but still the criteria.
