Most intriguing? Please, there are only so many times on can listen to :

    "It's truly a blessing."
    "Skills pay the bills."
"All roads leads to Floyd Mayeather"

before the **** gets really tired and old in a hurry. ****, at least with Manny, his camp is ashambles most of the time with Typhoons, Ariza beating the **** out of Koncz and Freddie spazzing the **** out. Add the congressman angle to Manny's dossier and you have an infinitely more intriguing character, even if he can't speak english for ****.

A lot of people said he was scared to sign the mosley contract when schaffer was supposedly getting worried as every time he called he was told tomorrow.

I believe Mayweather and his team deliberately play these waiting games to satisfy their own self importance to the boxing world.

I suspect if floyd doesn't want to sign he would have said so already. Or made us aware of something not right in the contract.

The only reason i can think of for floyd to wait so long up to the deadline set by Arum and not sign is his chance at payback.

Let me elaborate on this point.

I actually believe floyd was quite prepared to take on pac in march. There is a lot of evidence to support this statement.

    1. Mayweather agreed to fight in march instead of his supposed preferred date of May.

    2. Mayweather agreed to a 50/50 split. That takes some doing for someone with such a
    huge ego who wanted 60/40.

    3. Mayweather offered a 14 day cut off date to ease the pressure on both parties of
random testing to close to the fight. (Initially floyd wanted right up to the fight)

    4. Mayweather agreed to pac 10 million per pound weight penalty demands.

Even after pac and arum close down negotiations and the clottey contract was yet signed, floyd did publicly offer 14 day cut off period. But this was not accepted as it was supposedly never received by pac and his team in time?

If floyd doesn't sign i think there maybe a little bit of payback for him thinking pac wasted his time. Although pac could argue the same case for floyd.

But when has a super fight ever had easy negotiations? It's quite rare.

Well, he could one-up Pac once again by facing PWilly or Martinez while Pac goes after another paper title against Cotto.

How long can you brag about how Pac's legacy is sealed when he fights Clottey and then a guy he already demolished?

    They need each other bro.

His legacy was established by even coming up to WW and winning a title from a top WW, then defeating another top WW.

The barrera/morales/marquez stuff is what sealed it resume wise, the rest is icing.

when he signs everyone will know. he will outdo lebron james and want a two hour show on primetime tv where he will sign the contract, and then there will be a floyd mayweather tribute show.

Pac's got a great resume but it's time to keep it moving while he is still in his prime.

Mayweathers a gangsta so you wont hear nothing. The deadline will pass and Pac will agree to fight either Cotto, Margo or Williams. Only then will Mayweather start looking for an opponant to fight. Hes a disrespectful foulmouthed peice of ****. Ohhhh Yeaaaaaaah!

    I agree....

But if floyd won't fight him, then what?

PW is too big.... I'm sorry. There is no reason for that fight.
Mosley won't get him any credit after floyd dismantled him.
    Sergio is too big.
Cotto rematch is pretty much a free title.
    Margarito is a joke.
He would literally murder berto or bradley.....

I don't know what else he can do. He's pretty much established in my estimation.

Agreed. A lot of pac fans say pac is better than ever. If this is the case he should be show casing his talents against the elite boxers at what ever weight he chooses to fight next.

Why fight cotto at 154 but not martinez or williams? If this was anyone else this could and would be considered cherry picking.

I would rather pac fought the top guys at 140 rather than face cotto again.
