I've never seen lebedev beaten, unless you take way a roided to the gills Jones. He's basically beat most the euro contenders, all the African contenders and is fighting so smart, is stronger and technically better than glowacki. Uysk has one man to beat IMO. And it's Denis.

I love that left hand (his and Stevenson's are 2 of my favorites in the sport right now), and I'm a fan, but I think Leb matches up pretty poorly stylistically with Usyk. Usyk's movement, height and reach advantage, and ability to stick to a smart gameplan matches up extremely well with what Lebedev really prefers, which is more in-the-pocket countering and setting up the left.

I think Usyk's footwork and movement will be too much for Lebedev to pin him down. But, if there's a chin deficiency somewhere there we don't know about, Denis' left would be the punch to find it.

    Usyk UD for me.

He didn't flat out beat Huck, that match probably should have been a draw. He would give Usyk hell, but Usyk takes it close, too much speed.

Uysk was impressive and has skills but I don't see him as unbeatable

Not even a whisper of Yunier Dorticos... Kalenga knocks down this highly rated Lebedev fighter but Dorticos gets no love despite taking Kalenga's best in a war and beating him within an inch of his life? Shameful, you guys. :aaaaa:

We've already seen what a shot, old, inactive Guillermo Jones did to Lebby and guy wasn't even trying.

It's a shame that the Russians tampered with his results just like they did with that Australian guy.

Everyone accuses the Russian's of being dirty on here, there must be a literal half dozen cases of it just in the past year.

But I've never seen anyone stick up for Guillermo Jones. I'm talking ever. EVER.

Lebedev is a good fighter with excellent power, particularly in the left-hook. He'll always come undone if he faces a world-class fighter though - his footwork is average and he needs to see his opponent in a vulnerable position before he sets himself and lets his shot go. Usky has superior footwork and I think that alone would be enough to throw him off - add his excellent counter-punching skills and I can see Lebedev being undressed.

Well, when Huck can effectively stick and move against you...
