This one of the reasons I really don't follow boxing outside of some of the big fights

At some points yes I do but then we get a Salido-Lopez, Pac-JMM or a Vasquez-Marquez. Then it reminds me why I fell in love with the sport.

I do get tired of it tbh despite me talking about it a lot :D

my favorite thing really is breaking down and analyzing fighters and fights. I admire the ray Roy Jones or Teddy Atlas is able to do it before or during a fight

Money and politics go hand in hand.
And Yes I feel very angry at it.
You know the biggest PPV fight will not be Manny vs Floyd/JMM.
It will be MANNY PACQUIO vs BOB ARUM.
Everyone will pay to see that 5 second fight .

Roy Jones can analyze pretty well but if there is a black fighter involved he definitely rides that fighter. Anything that fighter does is amazing. He is pretty biased but at times does analyze pretty well.

The politics and rumors are part of the sport. In baseball or basketball it's "who's getting traded" in boxing it's "who's fighting who." Would I like a more organized, streamlined process? Of course.

yea very, i love boxing, but sometimes the politics of boxing just drives me nuts. Good fights often don't get made, promotors beefing with each other, champions won't fight champions, **** like that makes me so mad. but every once in a while they make sick fights like martinez chavez jr, or like khan maidana

As much as the political part of boxing may suck sometimes, it is a part of it. And you may aswell just accept it and like it.. Besides, it does lead to some interesting debates, that other sports do not have..
And yeah, boxing is business first..

Like anything else Boxing is far from perfect, Pro's and Con's like anything else. That being said as long as the Pro's Outweigh the Con's I will be continue being an avid fan.

Boxing in itself always finds a way to redeem itself, just when you think you are done, you are angry, boxing comes back it gives you something awesome to celebrate.

Definitely not, there's always some politics in everything.
