...you have one of those training sessions that makes you notice how much you've actually came, and that you've got alot more in you than you think..
Had one of those moments last night. My technique was flawless (according to my coach) My sparring went amazingly well (according to the bruises on my sparring partner's body) and my stamina was great (never felt the urge to head over to my gym bag and get a drink of water). Compare that to how I was last year (when I first started training) and I really realized how much I've progressed over the past 12 months...
I've had this feeling when rocking guys 5/6kg heavier than me with single punches, and slipping 95% of theirs. You need the balance between giving a beating and taking a beating....performing well and not performing well, that way you're going to be going the right way for a long time.
i had this feeling after my third fight, where i boxed somebody for the first time instead of just brawling, my coach just told me to keep doin what i was doing the whole fight because i was tagging him perfectly head and body and using my reach to mi full advantage
