^^This and it's not about how thick you're legs are.. It's about experience and time training TDD defense, grappling, etc. Look at how lean Jon Jones is, not the typical build you would see for a grappler back in the day.

When he was younger definitely. Being a kiwi, I think he would have more access to muay thai, kick boxing, maybe even some grappling.

i would dare to say ANY top 10 boxer at this point would represent boxing in mma better then an old, fat, shot Toney.

That being said, WAR TONEY. If Toney pulls this victory off he will automatically become a fav fighter of mine :D

Alessio Sakara does a good enough job as it is. Alessio has been boxing since he was eleven and has boxed professionally, I'm surprised nobody has mentioned him.

it is still a case of landing the punch before being taken down. A young Tua like the one who did a leap and landed a left hook against Ruiz would be hard for Couture to beat. Toney's style is not the best for MMA. He is relaxed, but that might not do as well as a pumped up guy like Tua or Tyson when they were young.

Not really, it wasn't lack of boxing ability that hurt Toney.

    It wasn't lack of power.

    It wasn't lack of strength.

It was a lack of ability, and Tua has no more MMA ability than Toney.

You can't knock a guy more out than out; Toney had the power to KO Couture, so what's more power gonna do? Knock him double?
