How a baseball player could represent baseball in a football game?

No you have to have years and years of MMA training to be able to compete in the UFC.

To have success in the ufc you must either be a
    Wrestler
    know Jiujitsu
    other submission style

You can't just be a boxer and be successful in the ufc. If toney had some wrestling background then he would have done better.

having big legs doesn't change much....Ex: Watch Jerome LeBanner under mma rules...Keep in mind , LeBanner is a 265 lbs HW kickboxer...(in other words his legs are pretty ****ing big...and he obviously uses them a lot more in combat than a boxer)

this is lebanner vs akiyama...(akiyama is not a hw btw..) but that didn't stop him from getting JLB where he wanted... Still , Jerome managed to win in the end...

So like Lebanner...Tua would have a puncher's chance... But he'd first have to avoid the takedown.

I knew Tony was going to lose, he has 0 footwork in the ring and in the octagon. Do I think he would have done better with more training? In his younger years yes, but at this point no; I don't even see him making a mark in boxing at this point

I disagree, there are plenty of successful strikers especially back in Pride. I do agree though that you can't walk into MMA only knowing 1 thing, but you CAN go into the octagon specializing in 1 technique like boxing, but training and understanding ground technique and do major damage

He wouldnt be anything close to Mark Hunt. Although the thought of Tua in 4oz gloves is a VERY scary thought.

yes i agree he would do way better than james toney there is no doubt in my mind

i still think he would get the shyte kicked out of him and wouldnt be confident it would get into the second round
