Man I know you're not that stupid, if you're mad you didn't see a fair fight blame Ortiz because he's the only one at fault, he was 14lbs bigger and supposedly stronger but was getting his ass walked down, only way for him to find mild success was to charge in swinging wildly when he got Floyd against the ropes...

That doesn't mean ****, seen it all before against Floyd get him against the ropes and miss 99% of his punches thrown nothing landing cleanly, again why go rounds with someone who is cheating and injuring you and quick ko's happen all the time its boxing why be disappointed in that, I love ko's...

H.S. no boxing purist wants an ending like that. Much rather see a KO when both fighters are fighting. if Ortiz was out on his feet and then KO'd that is one thing. Here was a chance for Floyd to beat a live opponent fair and square. He came out with the win but everybody else lost.

If Ortiz was wobbly and not throwing no problem but it was actually a great fight with Floyd in the lead. Who knows what would have happened. would Floyd have won if it went further ? Probably so why ruin that ?

But what you refuse to acknowledge is the fact that Ortiz showed every sign that he didn't want to fight fair, you're upset that Floyd knocked his ass out when as a professional Ortiz failed to protect himself, but you don't seem too ****ed up about watching a fight where Victor continuously and blatantly fouled...as a boxing purist as you label yourself you are trying to convince yourself that Ortiz had a chance in a fight where he was continuously getting hit hard and clean, swelling up and cheating...

Sounds like a losing battle to me, as a man I'm not going to allow another man to fight me dirty, its like if Ortiz was biting Floyd and hitting him in the dick but you say no Floyd overlook those illegal blows and fight fair, no **** that...like Scarface you wanna play rough okay let's play rough...

Do I wish it went a few more rounds so Floyd could have punished him yea but only if Ortiz would have been fighting fair but he wasn't so I'm happy he got knocked out when he did...

Floyd could have used his motivation to kick Ortiz' ass badly throughout the fight and win like a man. But he took an advantage of the situation, saw an opening and won via cheapshot.

I think Mayweather was just angry at that point. He wasn't thinking "man I should definitely wait for Ortiz to put up his dukes before I strike so I wont knock him out so I can get the valuable time in the ring coming off my 16 month layoff".

I don't think Mayweather new he was going to knock him out and fight would be over. Its not like he new that Ortiz was going to put his hands down after getting hit with first shot and look at the ref. Also Mayweather didn't throw and immediate 2 piece combo. He threw one punch then followed it up a few seconds later. If he was looking to end it he could have threw a 2 punch combo immediately or throw a stonger first punch then the one he did.

Also if Mayweather was hurt then why was he playing with Ortiz head when he was on the ropes as if he was a little kid? Why would he compromise his defense to put his hands on his shoulders? Plus Ortiz eye was getting worse and worse. 2 more rds and that eye would be puffed up and swollen and he probably wouldn't be able to see that well. It would have been a TKO stoppage in the 10th with Ortiz having now answer to Mayweather's speed and his right eye closed.

A tuneup for what? He's retiring, again! This time for an even longer time, probably. If he doesn't retire he'll fight Khan. He doesn't need a tuneup for Khan.

    The fight wasn't a tuneup...

Besides, I doubt Mayweather thought he would actually KO victor with his two shots.

it wasn't a tune-up. Floyd took on a bigger dude who he knew he could outbox, even if he had to try a little harder and took advantage of that doofus when he kept trying to bro hug. Now he counts his money and waits for the next mark to build up hype and momentum.

Check out the dipshits in this thread. The TS isn't serious, so he's not on ignore. Once I see that you can't be objective, you quickly go to ignore. Boxers told you they would've done the same thing yet, some still think FLOYD cheated. Yeah, Floyd sucka punched that head butting sucka ass, so what. ****ing cry babies.
