Here's a very brief clip, anyway. [yt]HoIoS6A0OgA[/yt] The person holding the camera has a very unsteady arm, so don't watch if you get queasy.:yep
Nice. Hopefully he starts fighting every 4-6 weeks for the next 6 months or so in order to accumulate more rounds and stay busy. DonYil might be able to take a step up in class earlier than most 2-0 fighters.
Yeah, five months is too long a layoff for someone getting a relatively late start as it is. Hopefully he gets on the fast track. :good Maybe he could squeeze in on the untelevised portion of the Nov. 13 undercard? Do you know what promotional banner he's under?
Andre Ward's trainer, Virgil, supposedly has a son who is no joke and could very well make a huge splash in the near future also. I've never seen him fight or spar, just heard, but heard some pretty high praise from a very solid source (somebody who actually sparred him). I believe he is currently fighting amateur. Edit: Then again, I do believe Livingston will be much more successful when it's all said and done.
I'm not sure who he works with, but I know he had a lot of trouble landing fights. It took a long time for him to finally get his pro debut in, which originlly was supposed to be December of last year. Then it was supposed to happen before it did in May, and I'm not sure if that dates back further. Then he had some problems finding a this second fight. I'm not sure if it's because of the people he is with or due to the fact he has such a tremendous amateur background. When you look at the guys he came up with--Ward, Dirrell, Bradley, Berto--he is a good deal behind them. If he can make it big, it will be an interesting story. He has the skills to be a real contender. I guess going forward we will find out if he has the mindset, too. If he does, I'm thinking he can be a champion within three year's time, despite only being 2-0 right now.
Wonder which division he'll be sticking at? 160 or 168? Would be nice to see him stay at 160 and in a 2 years time fight for a title.
On this week's edition of On the Ropes Boxing Radio, he said he sees himself having the best success at 154 or 160.
That avatar is taking me in a lot of different conflicting directions, man. Well, two conflicting directions at least.
