Another reason woudl be the crazy hype they put on the baddest man on the planet, Brock Lesna, who Cain then obliterated

So now Cain had to be the baddest

    ..... oh wait

I can see the UFC hoping for revenge here, so the first can be wiped off as a lucky shot

I hope dos Santos ****ing kills him

So the division is weak then. This is gonna be Patterson/Liston II all over again but Cain may be the most accomplished challenger that Santos has available so fair enough.

I hope Cain gets KTFO again after how much of a douche he was after the first fight.

Get in Fedor to fight him, JDS, break the bank for once!

Dos Santos vs. Velasquez isn't something i'm that interested in. i wan't jds to fight as many different opponents as he can, not one he recently beat.
its as if they are calling into question his victory over Velasquez.
you hear people in the media saying jds hit him with a punch early on that knocked him down. so what? isn't that one way of winning?
it seems that wasn't good enough for some people, wasn't legitimate. Velasquez didn't have a chance to get jds on his back. who cares if he didn't?
too bad for 'Velasquez the ugly.'

yes it would of been great to see a 3 or 5 round tussle but fights don't happen that way all the time. jds beat him fair and square, we don't need to see a rematch this soon.

Cormier is a more interesting fight than Cain. JDS will just blast him out of there again.

Cormier has another fight in Strikeforce left on his contract. You want Junior to sit on his ass for a year or so, waiting on him? :huh

Cain is the best available challenger at the moment. He was unlucky in their first fight - he wasn't dominated, he was just unlucky. The rematch is a great matchup. :bart

Well Haggis, wouldnt you rather see JDS fight Dan on free TV than another Cain rematch. This is purely hypothetical of course but it's the biggest fight in the HW division with both Reem & Brock on the shelf. This board is mainly hardcore fans, easier to see which fight we'd all mark out too

Unlucky...the guy got kodded by 100% of the punches Junior threw...After 4 + years, Im getting a little bored of the ''I beat Murr/Brock... Im a good fighter'' express. C'monon UFC you can do better

    Huntuuuu/Cormier all the way

After watching the UFC for YEARS Im hoping for a little more than ''I want the Hispanic dollars badly''. Tito v Chuck is till the best pay off the UFC has had not involving Brock

We all know this fight is going to happen...it just needs some anticiaption for me to get interested

Well, I can't see the UFC champion going to Strikeforce to defend the UFC belt against Cormier. What are you exactly asking for here? You want Junior's next defence to be Cormier on free TV? :huh

He was unlucky. He got caught on the temple, which ****ed up his equilibrium, and that was it. It was unfortunate. He wasn't dominated, Junior didn't prove that he was the better fighter. Cain was unlucky.

You want them to fight each other, or do you want one of them to fight for the title? :huh

I don't want Hunt anywhere near the UFC title belt.

A flabby, 8-7 fighter on a three-fight win streak (Tuchscherer, Rothwell, Kongo, so not exactly top contenders.) Before those three fights, he had SIX stoppage losses in a row, the last one a submission in 1 minute to Sean McCorkle. :-(

I don't give a **** about the Hispanic market. I want to see Junior in the toughest fight available, and that's Cain. Overeem can't fight him yet, Cormier can't fight him yet. Hunt doesn't deserve the shot. Cain is the obvious fight, and it's a good fight.

    What's your alternative?

    1) Cormier isn't available

    2) Overeem isn't available.

So who do you want to see get the shot, if not Cain? :huh
