Evening all, I'm buying the Pro Box wall bracket (https://www.boxfituk.com/pro-box-flat-packed-punch-bag-brackets.ir) for a double end bag I've managed to get my hands on. I've also got a Pro Box heavyweight ceiling hook already (https://www.boxfituk.com/pro-box-heavy-weight-ceiling-hook.ir). Do you think the ceiling hook will work as a floor hook for the bottom of the double end bag as that is what I intend on using it for??? Cheers.
It will mate. I used their dedicated floor hook for my double end bag (http://www.pro-box.co.uk/floor-hook-p-230.html) and secured it to my concrete garage floor using anchor bolts. The advantage to the floor hook is that you can remove the 'hook' bit when you're not using the bag. Saves tripping over it! If your setup is near a wall this probably won't be an issue for you though and I can't see why using what you already own would be a problem. Cheers.
