Has anyone bought one before? What were the issues you ran into? What should I look out for and what should I be looking for when buying the bag?

I had to put around 6 hours of work with my speed bag before I could use it.

One thing I'm concerned about is the length of the bungee, which seems to be missing from the specs for these bags. Should this be the main concern because of the different training room heights(garage for me)?

Usually the bag is suspended from the ceiling by a chain, so you can just hook the bungee cord on to the appropriate chain link for your height. The height from the ground up does not vary all that much so any bungee should do, but I suppose you could easily get a different ground cord if one does not work out.

Hmm, I never actually worked on a double end bag before so, obviously, I haven't got a clue. From what I've seen though, I was under the impression that it was 2 bungees, one on top and one on the bottom.
What you're telling me is that there's also a chain besides the bungee on the top portion? And you adjust the tension/height by hooking it to different chain link?
