What is your opinion of throwing double or even triple right hooks? Its common to throw double jabs or double left hooks, but what about right hooks? We don't see that so often. I once saw one fighter throwing double right hooks and his opponet totally lost his gameplan, because he wasn't expecting it.

Why not? Some fighters cover up where they just got hit, but others might not expect a 2nd or 3rd of the same punch, so if it works - go with it. Add some unpredictability to your game. I don't know how successful a 3rd repeat will be, but like I said - if it works on your opponent - do it. I never throw 3 hooks to the exact same spot, but I might go head-body-head, or body-body-head.

If you're going to do this, it's best to use your footwork to change angles on your opponent so you can punch around their gloves.

Pacquaio is a master at this, which is also how he's going to bust Mayweather up. He's going to step around Mayweather and bust him up with left hooks as he has done to many opponents in the past.

Now, if you're facing a guy like Marquez, who is consistently rotating, you may not get the opportunity to throw these types of punches because the target won't be there and there is a high probability you will get countered.
