In the past few days I've never before witnessed so much contempt for a person. Since many of you are highly skilled at trash-talking, I thought I'd give you even more reasons to get trigger-happy. I'll throw a different target out there for you to obliterate.

Let’s put the shoe on the other foot. Let’s give Manny a “deadline” to respond to any of these fighters who have called him out: Berto, Bradley, Williams. If Pac fails to respond let’s publicly humiliate him. Fair enough? A lot of you expected Floyd to step up to Manny's challenge and Mayweather let you down. Now we should expect Pac to step it up; he already had his easy fight with Clottey.

I don't want to hear any of that nonsense about each ideal opponent I mentioned being a no-name fighter. I'm highly confident that most if not all of you know their credentials. They are not amateur fighters for crying out loud. They have worked up the ladder far enough. Think back to a time when Pacquiao first got a chance to fight Barrera. If I'm not mistaken it was a co-promotion match and Pacquiao was not a huge name then. It's only fitting that Pac give back to provide an upcoming, deserving fighter a big opportunity. I also do not want to hear about Arum's power. Pac's voice should override Arum's orders if only Manny would speak up and is adamant. It comes down to whom Manny wants to dance in the ring with. Money would not be an issue as Pac would obviously get the lion's share. No drug tests would be administered. And I can guarantee you we'd see a lot more action than what Clottey gave us. I see no good reason why such fight shouldn't be made.

Fighting Clottey and Margarito/Cotto (if it happens) is no better or worse of a gift for the fans than one fight with Shane Mosley in 2010. Get off Mayweather’s ass. Otherwise convict both Pac and Floyd for the same crime of ducking a tough challenge.

Arum has stated Pac's next fight will be materialized within the next 8-10 days (subject to change), which shall also be Pac's "deadline." I hate to do this as I believe two wrongs don't make a right BUT something good can actually come out of this. And that's to get people to see and hopefully erase the double standards that exist in Boxing.

PS: I'm willing to give Pac credit and respect if he ends up fighting any of these guys: JMM, Berto, Bradley, Williams...basically anyone who can compete with him. I just want a competitive fight. Nothing wrong with that.

Void, Sr. said that he did not want Void, Jr. to fight Pac, he said that right after Pac stopped Cotto. Void is afraid. Will Void and Roger beat up another woman?

With the exception of Williams, do you seriously think any of those guys pose a greater threat to Pacquiao than Margarito or Cotto? JMM can't carry his attributes up in weight. Bradley has good skills, but zero power(especially at Welterweight) and his chin is far from uncheckable. Berto is very gifted physically, but is still a pretty unproven raw fighter with defensive liabilities and a shaky chin. Williams is the only guy in your list that represents, to me, a greater challenge than Margarito or Cotto, due to the ridiculous size disparity between him and Pac, and I'm not sure Williams could get down to Welterweight again to fight Pac at this point.

And the difference between Floyd and Pac is that Floyd is talking like he's basically not going to do anything for a year while Pacquiao is taking on his third straight fight against a top flight Welterweight or higher opponent in the meanwhile. You call Clottey Pacquiao's "easy fight" and he's an elite Welterweight. Both sides are indicating that the other is at fault, but only one side is pursuing fights otherwise. Floyd could seriously help his own cause with the fans by making something meaningful on the side if he's not fighting Pac, but everything indicates that's not happening.

For myself, I would like to see Pac in there with Williams or Martinez for the same reason as you, I think they would be the most competitive fights for Pac. But if Pac faces Margarito or Cotto, it won't be bad to see those fights either.

    Im bored of this topic.

if posters feel it is worth their time to call floyd a coward, let them.

a coward dont fight hernandez, corrales, castillo, gatti, baldomir odlh, hatton, jmm, mosley.

it is floyd who turned the fight down, who knows why, but it aint cowardice.

im sure someone will try picking holes or go on about people he dint fight, but the same can be said bout pac anyways.

if the shoe was on the other foot you would have burned Pacquiao at the stake yet here you are defending Floyd.
