Doubleheader on Dec 11 : Klitschko-Chisora / Braehmer-Cleverly

I'm a Haye fan - or used to be - but it's clear he now no longer wants a part of Wlad. He was offered 50-50 - no options - and he turned it down. Povetkin was obviously scheduled to fight Wlad, he agreed to the contract and I've never heard him complain about it. Yet Atlas wanted to pull him out because he 'wasn't ready' and he agreed.

According to the above articles posted by madballster Haye will have taken home 25mn Euro from his last 3 fights (after Harrison) whereas Wlad made an estimated 10mn Euro for his (I'm going by madballster's post on another thread for Wlad as I don't speak deutsch). 50-50 makes no sense at all. Wlad is being greedy and killing the fight.

Haye would never have fought Chisora as he's a Warren fighter. He'd fight any manner of eurobums before he took on Del-boy.

Wlad's decision making process here is hard to defend. I think he's just looking to raise his UK profile and doing a co-main event with Nathan Cleverly and dominating a complete bum is how he thinks he can do that. I don't see it working.

I remember seeing on another site where Wlad made $12 million USD fighting Tony Thompson.

This doesn't make sense.

David Haye made ~$8 mm each fight while Wlad made ~$10mm.

So you think Wlad shouldn't offer 50-50?

50-50 is more than fair.

 

Wlad makes 8-12 millions for every fight. Why would he make less money than Haye when he is the one selling out football stadiums?

Wlad makes nothing like that much. Give your sources. He may have made that much in USD in the past but not since he was banned from HBO.

Selling out a football stadium will get him about £500k more than selling out the MEN in Manchester. Stop bringing it up morons.
