He's in control, he's just hyping himself up into a frenzy. Of the two, I genuinely think Wilder is the more scared. Trying to hide it behind all the bull**** gangster ****.
I'm assuming your asking which bits are unfuryesq? He seems a bit too involved now and his usual ability to separate himself from the storms and fiascos he creates intentionally seems more of a blurred line. Maybe it's because he's the champion now cos it certainly invokes a different mindset. Maybe that's the side of the street he isn't accustomed to. Just feel he's more emotionally involved and less partitioned from the character he plays.
Yeah thats what I was asking. Interesting perspective. I just think he's amping himself up for what will likely be a pretty savage fight.
Yes. He is normally the one playing the mind games, unsettling his opponent. This time it seems like the reverse - although Wilder has not looked in control of himself, up until now. This is the calmest Wilder has looked in a long time and he seems confident, but who knows. Fury doesn't seem like the puppetmaster for once.
Fury is one of those fighters that finds a way to win regardless of other factors involved, he’s shown this. It could be ugly but I think he will win one way or another. He has that ability to think in a crisis, he can adjust. Whereas Wilder doesn’t appear to think at all. He could catch Fury, but still, as has been proven, it wasn’t able to finish him. Fury will find a way I think. Have a feeling it could be a strange fight as well. Looking forward to it though.
Fury absent for ages, obviously had a fairly shaky build up with the baby etc. Wilder I think we come out with a rocket up his ass. If I can get 100/1 on a Wilder R1 KO might have a pony
For me Wilder has always been underrated and his only defeat has seen him rated by many on here going from the most dangerous Heavyweight puncher to a fighter below puddings Whyte, Parker and Chisora. Incredible overreaction with the CV master @Mitch87 providing all the resume analysis for months. For weeks, I have stated Wilder is wounded, hungry and a warrior who wants his belt back. Fury at his best will win this fight and Wilder will still get little credit on here should he win. The excuse will be Fury never trained for the fight. Every fighter has a bad night and Wilder had a real stinker v Fury in the rematch after coming very close to getting the win in fight 1. Every second Wilder is standing is a dangerous second for Fury in this fight and if he has not prepared 100% and/or focussed 100%, there is a good chance that Wilder will wipe him out. Going out for a night of boxing at a mate's house who is a PPV Mug and DAZN subscriber - just got to provide the beer. Hope Fury wins but I will be nervous watching it.
Fair enough ough mate but it's not so much as us not rating Wilder. We just happen to believe Fury is the absolute big willy of the division. A simple case of Fury being too big, too strong and too good.
Wilder might flail around like a mad man like he did against audley Harrison, almost falling over his punches, go for broke. Don’t think that will work either. He’s probably that desperate though, he has the demeanour of a man that will do anything to win. It will be interesting to see his tactics in round one, composed sharp shooting or nutter on a mission, the former would be better but in his state of mind and the pressure he is under you have to wonder if he’s capable.
Fury all day long for me. I just can’t see what Wilder can come up with except for a big hayemaker. Malik Scott can’t have changed him that much. I think it will be much the same as the second fight. I don’t read too much into the weight of either fighter. Fury is a special fighter. I think Wilder is in for his toughest night by far.
