Good post. Both fighters are elite without a doubt. Probably both futures HOFs and deserve ooddles of respect. I expect a close fight and regardless of who wins, the loser is still an elite fighter.

Personally I favour GGG but Canelo is tough and quality.

No need for Canelo to lose to GGG in order for that to happen. Many have already tagged Canelo as a loser and a bum. Read the GGG fan comments that predominate in this forum.

 

Only ignorant groupies would call a top fighter a bum after losing to another top fighter.

 

True that.. .100 percent.. There are no bums at this level of the sport anyways.. Just keayboard warriors who dksab and have no idea what it takes to get in that ring.. Everything changes in that ring.. Takes big stones to get in there and reach that elite level.. Its fun to have healthy arguments and mess around in the forum but in reality both these dudes are a class act in the ring

 

I am shocked, El Chicano. You have not been very fair to GGG. From what I recall, and I am not going to look through all your posts, you have been very negative regarding GGG.

Glad we are finally seeing some sensible posts.

This is a 50/50 fight and both men should be considered top 12 pound for pound at the moment.

Winner is top 2 or 3 for me!

 

Anyone who calls someone with the courage to get into the ring a loser or a bum ... is almost 100 percent guaranteed to be a loser or a bum hiding behind a keyboard.

 

Doug Fisher has always been a very good boxing journalist, more like him are needed because the overwhelming majority of them are trash.

 

It was a weight cutting judge bribing ducker that he was accused of last time I checked. I may be wrong. I also think the above comments are harsh - prior to entering the middleweight division he forced through a number of not very lucrative challenges that he really didn't have to.
