wtf? He was underrated because he had ugly technique and questionable opposition (some call it great, some call it bad)

Doug was already hanging on by a thread after the email situation.
This just killed any professional integrity and respect he had and his credibility entirely.

I'm a Calzaghe fan aswell a skeptic because he had great talent but on the flip side fought Americas best when they no longer where the best. Look at Andre Ward for example he fought everyone from USA to UK in his division and hasn't even hit his peak yet. Hopkins fought everybody and is still fighting everybody so as far with Hopkins vs Calzaghe ATG Hopkins wins that easily because he's fighting for ATG Status because he secured his HOF status at 38 years old. RJJ cemented his ATG status when moving up to Heavyweight and winning a titile; but Calzaghe went undefeated all of is career fighting bums and then decides to fight two older fighters out of their primes? This has nothing to do with color, creed, or race because if Calzaghe would've beaten Hopkins back in 97-2006 and RJJ before moving down from Heavyweight I would even call him one of the greatest but because he's didn't do these things I can't acknowledge what he did in his career fully. I even give more props to Hatton for taking a risk fighting Mayweather and Pacman even though he lost but atleast he put it all on the line and tried but Calzaghe never done what Ricky Hatton done in his career.

 

yeah well it helps when the Irishmen/traveller is like 45 pounds bigger than the guy from philly. also, its not like fury wasn't talking insane ****atsch (before getting floored by a cw from philadelphia)
