Canelo gets a lot of love on here and so does GGG. The problem is that they are not proven to the degree and some of their fans think they deserve more credit than their record warrants. This happens a lot with several young up and comers, look at Broner for example how much heat has he gotten since Ring has included him on the P4P list. I think all 3 guys should be on the p4p list after we see the likes of Floyd, Serg, Pac, and JMM retire in the near future but none of them have reached that level yet.

the only one of that list that draws serious hate is Wlad and that is primarily a function of his ******ed fan base. i think Wlad will be highly regarded once he decides to call it a day.

I do not think History will be as kind to Joe for several reasons. first, his style makes the normal fan want to vomit. Second, he played it way to safe his whole career, He fought B level op for C level money. Third, the WBO belt was not worthy of wiping your ass with back then. next, the big money and challenges were north and south of him because the SMW was the newbie division. Ultimately, he lacked the courage and conviction to ever be considered an ATG, he was happy to be a big fish in a small pond rather than jumping in the deep end with all the sharks swimming around.

race works in his favour, it is funny how only in boxing do people consider it to be an advantage to be black.

nationality is a hurdle, but the truly great fighters leap over that obstruction with ease . . . look at Duran, Pac, Benitez, JCC, Tito and the list goes on and on.

Que bailey with his boxrec info. . . etc:bart

For real, look at the support Pavlik was getting . . . he was one of the biggest names in boxing at one point. HE would have been huge if he kept on winning and stayed clean

With friends like you Joe doesn't need any enemies. Lying little hypocrite. Joe handed those Americans their asses when they finally worked up the courage to fight the Welshman and he did it in their own backyards.

Calzaghe does get a lot of heat ; maybe its bc of his fans or something , but he was a really good fighter and does get underrated by some people.

If he were black he would of fought James Toney, Roy Jones Jr, and Bernard Hopkins in their primes.

He's lucky he was born in Britain

LOL. He was the same age as all of those guys pretty much. Hopkins was much better in his late 30's-early 40s than his "prime". Joe would have raped Hopkins in the shower in his 20s.
