In the Whitaker fight, according to Compubox Numbers, Oscar landed -12 punches all night.

Again, I agree. SweetPea won and I actually am going to watch that again tomorrow. It has been a long time ago and alot of fans were up in arms for that one. SweetPea could not get a break with that one and the notorious Chavez fight.

I respect all your posts and will continue to but I had the exact opposite feeling come and go

Maybe it's the Pacman hype. DLH has a small frame and made 150 a few months ago but just looked like **** most of that night. I'm certain Pacman will put up a better fight. My head still tells me DLH will win but only in 8 rounds. If the fight goes past 8 I really do see Pac pulling it off.. I really can't say how. DLH can be effective but not for long and not going the distance.. If Pac executes that game plan perfectly he has a huge chance. I don't see him putting DLH away though.

What's funny is that people still think Pacquiao is a come forward brawler, and that he's "there to be hit"

Pac hasn't been there to be hit since he fought Larios in 2006

"Aruguably" DLH outboxed Shane and Strum as well. Actully he did outbox shane and Tito...lost to Strum and had a very close fight with Pernelle which I think he edged. His only real losses has been at the hands of PAC and Hop....all the other close matches were just that...close and could have gone one way or the other. But for me....he's 50/50 in his closest of fights.

Two groups of people hate Dougie. Mayweather fans and Valero haters.

I really miss his Socal Notebook. Straightforward, unbiased, blow by blow accounts of pretty much every sparring session that mattered in the entire L.A area. I f*cking cleaned up on Toney - Rahman thanks to Dougie (book honored the original TKO3 outcome). He said the Fatman was looking sharp, and he was right on the money.

I really wish Gabe Montoya would revive the Notebook idea. With so many gyms and world class fighters in the area, it was an incredible read.
