The TUE is nothing more than a technicality put in the contract with the intention of being abused. Floyds team knew what it was and what they can do with it. The best way to rehydrate someone is intravenously, however, it is usually reserved for someone who is severely dehydrated. Floyd didnt look severely dehydrated after the weigh in and IF he was to the extent he had to be rehydrated intravenously I doubt his attending physicians will let him fight the next day.

Ariza speaks of a method called Hyper Hydration. But he doesn't talk about how its done. He claims to have done it with Maidana in the first FLoyd fight.

I did a quick search about hyperhydration in context to physical activity. The basic premise is, the person is pre-hydrated before the strenuous activity because they expect to lose more fluid than they can replenish during the activity. If that's what Ariza was talking about then it begs more questions then it answers.

It depends on what Ariza refers to as hyper hydration. I looked it up and it said that people over hydrate themselves in preparation for strenuous activities expecting that they can't replenish lost fluids as fast as they lose it. IF that's what he means then I can't help but ask...
    1. If he's hyper hydrating, was Floyd dehydrated to begin with?
    2. If he's dehydrated, medically speaking, you first correct the level of dehydration, over correcting is very dangerous, so why was he hyper hydrating?
    3. TUE is suppose to be the****utic, hyper hydrating isn't the****utic.
    4. Is hyper hydrating even allowed in professional sports? It could very well be legal, but I honestly don't know and appreciate if someone can tell me if it is.
    5. If Ariza is doing hyper hydration intravenously, is he certified? Giving intravenous fluids is a medical procedure.
    6. Hyper hydrating intravenously is still far more than the allowed 50ml/6hr allowed so why was he allowed to do it, irregardless of what fluids Floyd was given.

I'm not accusing Floyd of doping or using PEDS, but the whole situation is really sketchy.

a person/athlete would drink or infuse a hypertonic solution (salted water) which the body would then retain more to water to keep blood salinity at 0.9%.

this can be dangerous if you're taking in a a lot and with high concentration and your blood sodium level isn't being closely monitored.
