2 fights in the division and fought a title hiolder.

Rigo just won it against Ramos and then he immediately jumped to Teon Kennedy? It just does not add up!!!!

Why is he not challenging Nishioka or abner Mares if Donaire is ducking him? Or even Arce before Donaire chose him. Afterall, I doubt Arce backs out of any fighter. Not a prime fighter but at least he has a name. Teon Kennedy? Really? He is not even top 10 in WBA, where Rigo is the champ.

The number 3 in WBA is Poonsawat. He can also be a good opponent. But Teon Kennedy?

Holy ****, Fischer tore that dude a new ******* in the nicest possible way. BTW, he is 100% correct. The fans scream for fights, but fail to see the $$$ behind. Bottom line is that boxing is a business and promoters need fans in those seats. There would be something wrong if you saw hundreds-thousands of empty seats at a football stadium.

I like how you complain that Rigondeaux's had the "easy path to glory" but Donaire winning a belt against the guy who had just lost it one fight previous gets glossed over. If we're talking easy paths to glory, how would we describe a guy getting to fight for two belts against weak opposition in a division in which he had accomplished exactly nothing prior to that? Could you also remind me what Narvaez's ranking was at 118?
He's said he wants to fight both. Nishioka is reserved for Donaire, if anyone, and Mares is simply not a realistic option given the promoters. Donaire gets talked up more because they're promoted by the same company and because he sounds like an idiot every time the name Rigondeaux is mentioned to him.
Again, Arce's been reserved for Donaire for the past year. Donaire didn't "choose" him, Arum chose him. That's the explanation for Kennedy as well, who was probably one of the only guys who would take a really small purse since it was buried on the Pacquiao undercard and Top Rank is not investing heavily in Rigondeaux opponents.. This idea that Rigondeaux wants to take on cupcake after cupcake is not grounded in reality.

Just the standard excuses for not making a popular fight. Nothing original at all. The reasons Rigo isn't getting Donaire is clear to everybody. But why try to justify it?
I'm sorry I read through that.

you certainly don't follow boxing..Rigo has been calling ANYONE at 122...he just got TK willing to fight him.Update yourself.
Since Donaire is the other beast at 122 and fighting under same promoter everyone-besides pinoys and nonito himself-want to see that fight.

Career wise, sure, but do you really think Bernard Dunne makes it to round 4 vs WV2?

No one cares about Rigo fans. They only ones that care about Rigo fans are

rigo fans, plain and simple. The Cube has to step it up! before he can have a shot.

Donaire has had 2 fights at 122, they are already better than what Rigo has beaten at 122.

Cordoba got KTFO by Euro level Dunne.Ramos is a joke and Teon Kennedy, whatever!

The best opponent he's had is Ricky Hattons Irish cousin.

You are an idiot to believe that lip service is gold.

Talk is cheap!!! Do you actually think that everybody is avoiding Rigo? Really? Even Arce? Why did he fight Teon when he could have fought Arce himself before Donaire chose to fight him? And why Teon Kennedy? Of course, it is Arum's fault!!!

    Donairetards keep talking ****.
Cubans are not the only one following Rigo's career. All boxing fans are aware of him.The press and well known boxers analysts are calling to see more of Rigo.Everyone want to see him against Nonita, except you know who.
And he hasnt decline any fight against anybody.Arce is tailor made for him and its why Arum dont put them in the same room.
