Ben Doughty and Spencer Fearon have started a ringside-like boxing show where they talk about all things boxing. They cover upcoming fights as well as reaction to fight both here and across the pond, as well as a segment on myth-busting where they look at a classic fight and dispell the myths that surround them (ie, Billy Conn was a mile ahead of Joe Louis before the stoppage).

Anyway, for all those intestered, here it is:

    Episode 1

    Episode 2

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IWW4Fv1V_ic&feature=related[/ame]

I'll update this thread when the next show is put online.

    :good

    Episode 3

    The guys talk about :

Wlad - Mormeck recap 'Mormeck is so old he deliberately shaves his head, otherwise you would see his grey hair'
Vitali possibly fighting David Haye (even tho Jimmy Hayes says a Fury - Vitali fight is a done deal!)
Jamie McDonnell on his european title defence
    RIP Dave Charnley
Johnny Eames joins the team (very good insight on Ben Murphy vs Ashley Theophane)
Give predictions on Salido - JuanMa (just if you want to see if they were correct)
And a horrible hidden surprise at the end!

    Anyways, enjoy!

The programme is very good. A little raw, but Spencer is a character.

How many times did Burns get his arse knocked down by Carl Johanneson :yep

Was suppose to post that video in the other thread :patsch

 He sure is, Yeah Burns got battered that night. Man against Boy really he never once looked like winning. Carl at that time was very good and this was while he was with Rick Manners.

I was told Manners then turned him over, and Carl lost his way and before he fought Mitchell Maloney had to take him away from Leeds to get him focused and away from drink. Carl's a very quiet guy and could of fought for a world title IMO.

Yeah Carl was a grea little fighter to watch. You always knew what you'd get out of him. Ricky was absolutely creamed that night. It's a massive credit to billy nelson and burns as to how he has improved since then.

Just watching show now, Ben needs to loosen up a little in front of camera. There a good pairing although Spence needs to let Ben finish his sentences .

Nice short and sharp show though, could get better as well..

Yeah I think Ben was a tad nervous at first. But he seriously knows his stuff on the history side of the sport.

Yeah i got that impression, way he was moving hands etc. I've seen his posts on FB when commenting on links or people commenting on his facebook. He seems a engaging fella. One that could be used to do a 10 minute piece in between fights on a Boxnation show.

Him talking history of a venue or a belt etc.
