    This was hilarious -

You know what I think of Floyd “Needs Money” Mayweather Jr: Great talent and skill, without a great heart to go with it. He won’t fight anyone he doesn’t KNOW he can beat. Before he fights an elite fighter that fighter has to first look vulnerable in some way. Pacquiao hasn’t looked vulnerable in any category in his recent fights, so I don’t think Mayweather will actively pursue the Pac-Monster after his July 18 showdown with JM Marquez.

And by the way, I think Marquez is going to shock the s__t out of Needs Money. When’s the last time Mayweather took on a fighter as smart, skilled, experienced and gutsy as Marquez? This ain’t Carlos Baldomir, a faded Oscar De La Hoya, or a made-to-order Ricky Hatton, this is Juan-Mother-F__king-Marquez he’s stepping in the ring with, the man who gave Manny Pacquiao pure hell last March and then knocked out Joel Casamayor and Juan Diaz.

This broke-ass fool better be ready to defend his legacy come July 18.

Was this from the Ring's site? I didn't know he still does a mail bag.

Dougie blatantly contradicted himself. He claims Mayweather only fights guys he knows he can beat that are vulnerable. He then insinuates that Marquez has a legit shot at winning. Where have the true journalist gone? I wonder how much they pay Dougie to spew biased non sense?

Mayweather's cars are are worth more than Dougie's house, and Dougie gets paid a fraction of what Floyd gets paid. Despite this, Dougie calls Floyd broke; hilarious. Dougie needs to return to reality.

I don't know how Marquez will handle the weight, but Dougie is right... This little Mexican is the best opponent Floyd has seen in a while... AND, he's been off 2 years to boot!

I can't see Marquez winning,,, but it's not really the mismatch some are making it out to be. Gatti vs Mayweather... now THAT was a mismatch!

I take it you never read the old mailbag on m--boxing.

It was never meant to read as "professional".

It's his mailbag so it's his personal opinoin.

But when I read it I was like "Wow, imagine posting that in the ESB general forum" - Good times. I guess this contradicts the whole "Floyd is 300 million liquid" call...

I have to agree. That kind of disrespectful name calling is uncalled for.

If anyone thinks Floyd needs money then they are delusional. End of story!

So you think his lifestyle is frugal?

I don't give a crap what his accounts are looking like these days, but Floyd strikes me as the kind of dude who could blow a whole lot of cash in a very short time.

If he doesn't need any money, why is he coming back?

he needs money but not in a sense that he is desperate for it, its a combination of continuing his legacy and pursuing the best there is to offer legacy wise and money wise

I think it's entirely possible he needs money.

    Who doesn't these days?

You're reading too much into this. I don't see the contradiction.

He's basicallay saying that PBF picked JMM because he thinks he can beat him but suggests that FLoyd's in for a surprise.:deal
