Don't see world class in him yet.
He actually has some pretty solid domestic oppositon to get past, so that would be a good indication of what he ks capable of.
    Still very young.

I think Junior Tszyu is one of the best talents in the country. Perhaps the best.

It's important to keep in mind though that he has a 30-fight domestic amateur career behind him. Not a 270-fight international amateur career like dad.

Still, I've been impressed with what I've seen. We'll know more after Sunday as the guy he's fighting is better credentialed than anyone he's been in with thus far as a pro.

Agree with WhataRock also. There's plenty of good domestic fights around his weight in this country against which to chart his progress.

Ty C is the best junior welter/welter in Oceania, that is not up for debate. Worldwide he is a solid contender also.

Thank you for your contribution, Franga, but like Midnite Howler, I would like to see you work on developing some new material.

Lets be honest here kid, the only Aussie fighters worth our interest are Ty C and the old warhorse Dales Berries but unfortunately they are inactive. The rest of these guys you forum journeymen on here mention are either frauds or haven't fought anyone with half a pulse so it is just guess work as to how good they really are. I would say that this Tszyu kid that you are all drooling over will probably get schooled and stopped by some journeyman in the states when/if he steps up in a couple of years or so. Someone like a bloated welterweight Alfonzo Gomez from the past if ya get my drift.

The kid blows he has fought nothing but wino's from the alley as a pro and his 30-1 am record is nothing special as he was a protected species in the Am's and received gifts. He is nowhere near the level of his old man who went through the Russian school of amateur boxing he will be schooled once he steps up.

The new Fab 4 of Australian boxing - Junior Tszyu, Super Hooper, Dave Toussaint & Jai Opetaia.

Looking forward to seeing them develop & progress.

The old Fab 4 of Australian boxing lack the foresight & sound judgement needed to identify anyone worth following.

This is where you're going wrong. Instead of denigrating every Australian fighter who gets mentioned, you need to identify one who is capable of doing something.

If you can't do that, you're wasting your time posting here because you don't have anything to contribute.

I think all of them are capable of doing something. Watching them progress & seeing how far they can go is what it's all about.

I am giving my opinion that is what forums are for, just because you don't like or agree with it does not mean that I am not contributing. We can't all be deluded backslappers that will cheer for anyone just because we live in the same country. At this present time I can not identify any world class talent in Australia the names you mentioned tell me that you don't know much about boxing if you think that they are going to make a serious impact.

Your opinion on Jeff Horn really makes everything you said here irrelevant..

If you still think he is no good then I think you have a agenda in regards to Oz boxers in general..
