Kris George is a good fighter but that right hand didn't look like it landed.

Makes you appreciate the efforts of that Italian who came out here to fight Bilail Akkaway.

He took some pride in his performance, gave the fans their money's worth & didn't worry about what the officials were doing.

Put his head down & made Akkaway work for it.

That's what a true professional should do.

Contrast that effort with this guy who appears to have looked for a soft spot on the canvas to lie down on at the first opportunity.

There was no announcement of a delay in the fight until after Horn signed the fight contract last week.

It would seem that Dud Crawford has been aware that the fight wasn't going ahead as scheduled for a while.

It also seems that Top Rank was aware because they didn't bother announcing the fight. It wasn't a case of poor ticket sales - there were no ticket sales because Top Rank didn't bother offering any tickets for sale. They knew the fight wasn't going ahead.

I wonder if there's a clause in the contract that prevents Horn from taking another fight until this one has occurred.

If so, Horn & his camp have just been played. They've waited for Horn to sign the contract & then delayed the fight knowing that Horn can't take another fight in the interim.
