I knew you would've mentioned those 2 fights but did you even read my post? Two easy fights after 3 extremely difficult ones, especially for a NEW fighter, is totally normal. He fights 3 tough fighters, takes 2 easy ones and now is set to fight another tough fighter, how is that unfair? You want them to keep putting him against tough fighters over and over and he'll end up ruined, all fighters take easy fights here and there, if you know boxing you'll know that by now.
That's because nobody else knows what they're talking about. They see that those fighters are coming up in weight and they assume it's going to be easy and totally forgetting that those guys actually have different styles and can give anyone trouble.
So actually everybody is hating on Taylor, but the judges were the ones who scored all those fights in favor of him.. so actually we should hate the judges.. it's not taylor's fault.. instead the majority is hating HIM. I am not a fan of taylor but this isn't fair
Taylor is a fighter who ducks nobody and fights the best available competition. That's a champion folks.
They'll just keep on hating. If he KO's him they will say that Pavlik wasn't nobody anyway and if he decisions him they will cry robbery.
Taylor was ready for a title shot and "Beat" an old champ in B-Hop. He was given a re-match just like every champ has in his contract if he loses. He draws (terrible decision) w/ a good boxer in Wright. His last two fights were an injustice for the Middleweight champ of the world. Kassim Ouma was supposed to be an "easy" fight in Little Rock for JT to reward his home fans. That didn't turn out the way he had hoped. Spinks, why take that fight? Spinks was on nobodies radar in the Middleweight division. JT and his people were hoping to draw a crowd w/ the backyard rivalry. They drew alright-FLIES!! Taylor backed himself into a corner w/ all the talk @ the Spinks press conference. This time the reign will come to an end "and the ne Middleweight CHAMP!!!"
"Terrible decision"? How so? Do you think JT won or Winky? That fight was the definition of a draw IMO.
I agree. If Winky would have fought and won the 12th...I can see no reason not to give it to Winky... but he didn't . I thought that fight was a clear draw. I've only seen the first Taylor-Hopkins fight once and that was a long time ago so I would have to see it again...but I won't.:bart :tong
