Why did they (The IOC) between 2000 and 2004 cut the HW division in both Greco and Freestyle down from 130kg to 120kg? Does anyone know why? Widdowmaker?
Thats right. Widdowmaker was dominating so much much they had to redraw the boundaries and give other people a chance :deal
:nono Widdowmaker is one of the best wrestlers of all time. He's a hero in his home town, the local cops would sacrifice their careers and possibly serve time to defend his honor. :happy
Are you kidding? That's why he was Greco-Roman! Here's how it went down: Karelin was hard at training in deepest Siberia, but even in this remote corner of the world, word had got round about this kid they were calling Widdow_maker, who had "trained with Mark Coleman" no less, and was the 36th best high school wrestler in Shitsville, Ohio. Now, Karelin was still going to compete in freestyle, until one fateful day he actually met the great 'Maker' face to face! "I have a really high tolerance for bull****, I'm one of the easiest people to get along with in person you'll ever meet, WM said, but when somebody crosses the line, thats it!" Now, at this point Karelin was literally quivering in his boots as he peered down at the 140lb 'maker'. 'Sasha', however, was a proud man, and decided he would continue to compete in freestyle, even if it meant he could only ever be second best. This, however, was until one of his Russian team-mates showed him a photograph of Widdow_maker with his glorious collection of wrestling trophies! Too much for the big man, he instantly fled. Karelin was soon after found in the nearest bar, crying into his vodka. And thats how karelin became a legend in Greco-Roman!
