Sir, was this ordered because you had passed the age of 35, or was there some other reason. Also, is this an expense that normally a promoter or manager would have to take care of? Only a fan, and asking for educational purposes.
She lied about being a boarded certified Neurologist when she was hired by Nevada ! After there was so many people dying they had to run here off ! But is still a proud member of the middle class rights suppressing ABC !
Yeah, that's the only **** fight they've picked up this year. I guess it's because they want to make a star out of Dawson.
Good question sir , Its the Rule of Nevada ! And I was offered a $1500 Purse ! And no I would have did all this on my own money !
This is true. But, without Haussler's articles shining the light on their asses, the shitty economy and almost all of their PPV's BOMBING last year, and shitty ratings even on thier free shows.....would they be going back in the right direction?
I agree Stacey, i see exactly week in and week out how many less than priveledged managers struggle to get otherwise dedicated fighters low priced fights because of eye exams etc.. that are way too costly to make the bouts purse itself pay a boxers bills, i mean we are all human, we all need to pay taxes, bills, we all put food in our mouths and strive each day to make it worth while getting up each day......... Margaret is on a mission to get her own name in lights and appear someday in some hall of fame for her "CONTRIBUTION" to the sport.. God bless..
well pavlik rubio and cotto/jennings should NOT have been ppv if it wasnt more people would have seen it! giving the sport more exposure and a better chance to get new fans......
Don't Paddy! Setanta have a deal with Hayemaker for a certain number of shows (not sure how many) but they have a power of veto (of sorts) in that there has to be a certain quality to them, British/Euro title fight, or an international fight with quality card etc...... The bill tonight is still very good, even though the main event has been cancelled and the chief support is now top of the bill.
people have been announcing the coming of the end since...well, since the beginning of organized boxing any number of thousands of years ago. mixed martial arts (mma) is no more a threat to boxing now than professional wrestling was in any of its boom times. i don't mean to liken mma to "fake" fighting, but that's the business model they go out of their way to support and employ. boxing is not a sport that has, historically, been popular among the mainstream. what we call casual fans are the exception, not the rule. it is a business supported by fanatics and addicts such as the ones who post on these pages--and I include myself in that description. the age of ali gave way to the era of ray leonard, people knew those names in the 'sports illustrated' sense of the word, but, again, those times are the exceptions, not the rules by which the ring has survived these years.
I am thinking all rules on the ABC/McCain agenda should be based on the Bill of Rights ! And not what some Bureaucrat wants to get in ring magazine !
