drain him nice n good, just as expected the new catchweight king is here obviously floyd is not "comfortable" without canelo having to cut even more weight. This will substantially weaken him, this has no significance if Floyd wins.
To be honest if it were at 150 I would say you have an argument if the fight were at 147 obviously its a joke. But at 152 if anything in my opinion Canelo is 22 years old his body will be able to deal with taking off that extra two pounds I believe it backfires on Floyd if that is his intention. To me all this does is ensure that Canelo comes into this fight in the best shape of his life, and it may solve these allegations of stamina issues.
Canelo usually weighs in at 153. All he would have to do is shed 1lb. And he might even come in past 152. Floyds not dumb, I'm sure he knows thats a high possiblity. This 2 pounds means nothing, people should happy they're getting the fight.
Alvarez is already killing himself to make the weight that much is clear as he puts on over 15 lbs each fight Another 2 lbs on top of all of that is a lot. Otherwise why do it ?
They're are already setting up for the HATER threads when Floyd whoops that ass. Canelo was at his perfect weight when he fought Trout and was gassed by Round 7 (in a fight that many thought he lost). So now if he's gassed by round 7 again....it's because he's weight drained. I got a nice SMH gif I could use....but it would be a waste of a good gif.
