I just thought if a fighter was close to weight for a month he wouldn't be dehydrating and need to have a full day to rehydrate.
If 5 times rather than 3 isn't logistically difficult, great. Whatever frequency's best, your idea's brilliant.

If only a central body ran boxing and this could actually be implemented. Even if the WBC agrees guys should fight at their natural weight and multiple weigh-ins would make them do so, they know they can't make such a radical change when the vast majority of the sport wouldn't be close to it.

This is a great idea for the big fights(it really is), but what about the smaller, less scrutinized fights. The small budget fights.

    Isn't 10 a bit arbitrary?

Surely its different for different divisions?

Also, bare in mind these same day weigh ins are the morning of.

Lemieux weighed under 170 on the day of weigh in, but still weighed 175 come fight night

WBA will probably invent super/regular/unified/recess/emeritus belts for drainers, with obligatory sanctioning fee of $50k for each drainers strap. Rios currently holds undisputed WBA 147lbs drainers belts.

WBO will rank dead drainers from bygone eras.

This will also cut down on a lot of rehydration hacks like IV bags and dope masking.

This is not really an expensive process. They can find a convenient way to organize this; such as the fighter could go to the athletic commission in his state and have the weigh-in on pre-arranged dates.
