    I just checked my off shore sports betting account and the current line for the mayweather-ortiz fight is Mayweather -675.. ortiz +475.. It opened up at -1100 mayweather.. +600 Ortiz.

    I guess the smart money is on Ortiz.. :yep

    I thought the closer it gets the odds went higher on ortiz, this is strange.

    People will put money on a big underdog early out of greed to get the best odds possible.

    The pros wait till the start of the last week, when odds should be closest, to bet onto the favorite.

    I already put a grand on the over.. I'll probably put 200$ on victor. I expect mayweather to win via UD. But you never know!

    Ortiz needs a knockout to win. I dont think anyone, even Ortiz's mother expects him to outbox PBF and win a 12 round decision. Now you have to ask yourself how likely a KO win is for Ortiz.... very very unlikely.


    I was in vegas for JMM-Mayweather and Pac-Cotto. Didnt put money on either. Considered a under 10 for JMM-May but luckily didnt pull the trigger. UD for Mayweather, the odds were so crazy it wasnt even worth it, youd have to drop a ton to make anything and there is a chance of some fluke like he breaks his ankle and stays down or something stupid and then you are out a grand.

    I thought the odds were underrating Cottos chances against pac but I would never bet against Pac. Expected Pac to win but the odds werent good to me given what I would make to bet on him vs the risk.
