Has there ever in the history of MMA a fighter who has risen to heavyweight and had as much success as Overeem literally overpowering massive heavyweights with such ease? Overeem is a very special case. MMA is going to miss him when he is gone. And to think he is only 31 with that much experience. In some respects i actually wish he would come to the UFC so he could just tear the division apart. There is NO ONE in the UFC that can beat him. NO ONE!

How many of the UFCs top HWs do you think he could take out on the same night?

He looks absolutely unstoppable. Prime Fedor is the only guy i could see beating him, even then it's far from a given

Fedor would have pulverised him back in PRIDE. But now that Fedor has lost a step and Overeem is a fully fledged heavy with serious power this is a VERY even fight. Fedor would have to take him to the ground immediately. From guard he should have no problems even with his GnP which is still better than Overeems. But standing though there is no man in MMA that can beat him.

Duffee simply can't take a punch. He needs to retire before he gets seriously hurt. He has one of the worst Glass Jaws I have ever seen. Why the UFC was trying to hype him as the next big thing is beyond me.

Overeem is the real deal but let's be honest... Cain, Carwin, JDS would make quick work of Duffee.. especially JDS

I don't think any of them get rid of him as early as Overeem just did. :deal

I love JDS but Overeem is an absolutely terrible style matchup for him.

glad he got KO'd he was exploiting the system with those dropkicks and staying on the ground extra seconds every time he did it. its only fitting that he would get KO'd in the MMA round.

Overeem is the future of the heavyweights. The next great one to carry the torch. I also love how he is humble and a good sportsmen. That seems to be a trend with all the great ones.:deal

Nobody in the UFC is a good matchup for him. If he signs they'd be better off just handing him the belt. Overeem is a fighter in the truest since. He is the champion at strikeforce, just won a K1 event, and destroyed a young man who many saw as the future of the UFC heavyweights(it was premature). In other words, Overeem fights on his days off!!:hey

But anyway, Overeem isnt beating Cain.

Cain know his bread and butter, he will put Overeem on his ass, and GnP him and Overeem will gass by round 3 or 4.
