Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by albeziel, Jun 4, 2008.

  1. Prime 88 Tyson wins on points, Prime 97 Tua that fought Ike would have KO'D Tyson, no way in hell Tyson ko's the iron chin Tua, Tua went 12 with Powerful Lennox he would go 12 with Mike, would have been a ****ing good scrap with 2 short tanks going at it, to bad they never fought..:-(

I voted for Tua but thinking of course about the 97-98 Mike Tyson who wasn't that compromised with his career.

Tyson and he maybe able to force a stoppage.

Tyson in his prime was quick, hard punching and hit with combinations and angles!

I dont think stamina would play a part as they are both fairly similar in that respect.

Go out on a leg Tyson stoppage due to accumilation in 10

I'm not comparing Tyson with Ibeabuchi here..but lets be real..if Ike couldn't stop Tua with as many CLEAN power shots as he was hitting him with..Tyson wouldn't be able to either. Tyson wasn't one shot power, in my opinion he relied more on his speed and combinations and movement. Tua showed in the Ike fight that in his prime he could withstand a barrage of combinations and powershots.

No way Tua gets stopped. I just can't see it.

Ibeabuchi didn't hit as hard as Tyson did. And Tyson's speed, combinations, power and chin would have dominated a very slow David Tua.

Mike Tyson did have 1 punch knockout power. Even when he came out of jail. I think any era of Iron Mike would stop Tua.

You might be right and you make a good argument. However, I think Tyson hit harder than Ike and in his prime threw power punches in bunches better than Ike.

    Too bad we'll never know.
