Taylor would dice him up unless Broner found some foot movement from somewhere.

Taylor was a fantastic fighter. Blurring hand speed. Unbelievable competition.

Broner is so overrated, i cant believe people are still talking about this guy.

He is to Floyd Mayweather what Dereck Chisora was to Joe Frazier and what Tommy Morrison was to Mike Tyson

    Just a poor wannabe

Taylor beats Broner from pillar to post

Dream fight only if you hate Broner.

Taylor would light him up like a Xmas tree and stop him . Given how shitty Broner's defense is, and how fast Taylor was and how potent his offense was, I don't think Broner goes longer than 6. The gap in class is HUUUUGGGEEEEEE.

Prime Taylor would wipe his ass with Broner, Maidana, and Paulie all in the same week.

It's a dream fight for the many people who dislike that annoying clown Broner.

At 140, Taylor dominated a very good fighter in Buddy McGirt and came within 2 seconds of defeating an ATG in J.C. Chavez, who was very close to his prime.

Even after taking a horrible physical beating against Chavez and being an undersized welterweight, Taylor still beat a good, undefeated champ in Aaron Davis.

Broner would lose in convincing fashion to all 3 of these Taylor opponents, and lose in convincing fashion to Taylor as well

I agree with everything here, except the part about Chavez being "very close to his prime". Chavez was very much IN HIS PRIME.

JCC probably started to fade around 93-ish.

In 90, he was very much at his best.

I like both of these posts and feel that they sum up the situation nicely.

This matchup is an insult to Mel, if the poster is being serious.

Broner might not even be as good as Andre Berto, LET ALONE Meldrick effing Taylor.

Taylor was a much better fighter. Broner has zero chance. Mayweather -Taylor would be a more realistic match up and a genuinely competitive fight.
