Just saw the article at ESB front page and seems like a great fight. Two people that have no respect for each other would be a great fight in the ring.

Who do you guys think will win and why?

Carl Froch and his performace against Kessler in April will show exactly why when he knocks Kessler out for the first time in his career.

    Calzaghe would've beaten Froch handily.

I'm not JC's biggest fan but Froch's habit of holding his hands down by his waist would have cost him dearly in this fight. Calzaghe's hand-speed would lead to this fight rapidly turning into a mis-match as Froch eats jab after jab and quick-fire combinations.

Calzaghe doesn't hurt Froch but I doubt he loses more than a round or two. JC by wide decision.

I think Calzaghe's a different class altogether, I havent been impressed by Froch at all, he's an accident waiting to happen. His crude, hands down style would be expoited effectively by the far quicker Calzaghe, I think Froch would find it difficult to win a round tbh.

calzaghe is to strong for froch
froch has no defense and calzaghes hand speed would be to much

This is a mismatch. Calzaghe would make Froch look completely silly.

the toughest fight calzaghe had is probably against hopkins which he said

the reason being is because hopkins did everything defensive and try to steal a win. hold, be smart and throw cautiously

froch is the total opposite of hopkins and calzaghe would win all 12 rounds i feel

    Calzaghe would probably stop Froch.

Calzaghe's hand speed, combinations, treble jab and stamina means he wins every round.

Anyone who has spent significant time on ESB knows I am the polar opposite of a Calzaghe apologist, but Slappy Joe would slap the living **** out of Carl The Clumsy.

Joe was just to fast, to strong, to tough, and WAY to smart for Froch. Joe had many, many flaws, but Froch does not have the speed or ring smarts to capatilize on them. Put that together with Froch's lack of defensive prowess, and I see a humiliating and really one sided fight. JC would bullrush, slap Froch about 189 times, and then move away before Froch even realized what happened. Wash-rinse-repeat. I can easily imagine McKracken throwing in the towel in about 10 rounds.
