The most frustrating part about Floyd's retirement is that he would actually have a very live chance of beating every welterweight in the world, or at least would have if he hadn't retired.

Honestly, i think if Cotto could get to the 11th round and nearly sweep the first half the fight, Floyd would be able to make it the distance with his superior defensive abilities combined with the fact that he has no problem with "running" whereas Cotto was too proud to do it, and just lacked the ability to do it. Pretty much every punch Floyd throws would land, Cotto showed how easy Margo is to hit and Floyd is very precise, so although there would be such a huge difference in work rate, it would be mostly negated by Floyd's excellent defense.

I'm pretty much 50/50, last year i would take Floyd to edge a decision, if he came back now, i might edge towards Margo.

Yep. Floyds connect rate would be off the chain

Yes...because fast hands is all it takes right? Forgot Floyd's inactivity...or the FACT that he doesn't move or punch as he used to. Lets all pretend Floyd is STILL as great as he was @ 130 and is just bigger and stronger. Lets forget he doesn't throw as much for a reason (bad mitts). And lets forgret that floyd likes to be in his comfort zone and also forget that Margarito doesn't allow you to get into it (unless you outwork him...which Floyd wouldn't do...)..

Why you use DLH as some meaning it ridiculous. DLH doesn't even fight a full fight anymore, nor rarely the whole 3 minutes. So why use beating him to mean something? That's rather assinine. :huh

If Floyd injured his hand that would be serious trouble for Floyd

Why is it in EVERY Floyd vs. Margarito thread, this is all you ever say. A few months ago when you first joined, all you would do is post that video. Look, if you want to be take n serious, rather then just another dumb**** floyd fan like kingchille or Eze, try to display some actual knowledge. If all you can say is "Look at Bladomir" then what you arew saying is you don't know ****.

And there's no reason to think a fight with baldomir, who does NOT have workrate or power, does not have a big size advantage. Baldomie is even shorter then Floyd and has a short reach. Margarito has size and reach over Floyd.

Any loser can just say what you are saying w/o backing anything up. My guess is you are just out of your league here.

Mayweather dosen't encroach, Dude. He either dances around you or backs the **** up. This isn't gonna work 12 rounds against Margo.

If Margo comes on strong, he'll get tired down the stretch and get completely shut out in the last rounds. If he starts off slow, he'll get completely shut out the first half of the fight. So I definetely see Floyd getting the points victory one way or another.

I;ve gone over this match up 100 times PBF by UD is the smart pick here. If a flawed guy like Cotto can outbox Margo for 7 rounds a better fighter with better stamina better defense and better chin in PBF can do it.

There is no reason to assume he'll get tired. What's that based on? NOTHING?

You really don't know much about boxing, or boxers.

A better, faster boxer with better stamina. One way or another, stamina is gonna be a big difference in this fight as you're gonna see Margo's punches in slow mo as the fight gets in the latter rounds

 Cotto took risks Floyd wouldn't. Cotto planted his feet because he knew he'd have to do that to get power on his punches. Let me guess.... Floyd back peddles and pot shots to a win.

And no, he did not outbox Margarito for 7 rounds. Wow...that's now like people saying DLH outboxed Tito for 9 rounds. Same bull**** exxageration. DURING round 6 is when Margarito turned it around. And from 7 on, all Margarito.

If you look at the Cotto fight, in round 9, he was tired. His punches were being thrown slow. Yes he was producing alot of punches still, but they were coming slow. PBF never gets caught by slow punches. And I'm sure those punches slowed down because of fatigue. So yes, stamina will play an issue down the stretch.

True. I swear, some of these Floyd fanboys post as if they really haven't seen him fighting @ 147. Floyd does not win throwing only 450 punches over 12.
